A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline.
Primary Function :
The Lead Project Coordinator ensures the successful execution of field data collection projects by managing schedules, overseeing field staff, maintaining data quality, and tracking project performance. Serving as the primary liaison between field technicians, site managers, and clients, this role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage field staff schedules to meet sampling and survey requirements.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings and onboard field staff, ensuring compliance with safety and sampling protocols.
- Regularly check in with field technicians to monitor progress, resolve issues, and uphold project standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for field staff, site managers, and clients, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth operations.
- Perform QA / QC on data sheets before submission to the client, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Distribute and collect necessary forms and supplies for field operations.
- Track and approve field staff expenses based on Federal GSA rates.
- Monitor project financials and ensure deliverables align with client expectations.
- Prepare and submit monthly status reports on project progress and financials.
Compensation : Candidates will be paid an hourly rate to be negotiated, and total compensation will be between $28-$32 / hour. This is a full-time position. AIS benefits package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, sick and holiday benefits.
