We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of items.
- Drive company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to designated delivery locations.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Assist with moving items as required, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, forklifts, and pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
