Industrial Machinery Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and other production-related equipment
Inspecting and assessing the functionality of machinery
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical breakdowns
Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades
Conceptualizing and recommending plant improvement strategies
Carrying out site inspections and audits
Work with civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineers
Maintain all documentation, including blueprints, schematics, sketches, drawings, calculations, and cost estimates
Training new hires and cross-training other staff members
Maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment
Making decisions based on technical documents
Skills and Qualifications:
Willingness to learn
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
Knowledge of industrial control systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills
An understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
The ability to understand, follow, and apply policies, practices, and operating procedures
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
Commitment to working in an extremely safety-conscious environment
Required Qualifications:
Will be required to pass Background Investigation
Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical maintenance
Preferred certificate or diploma in a related field
Welding Certificate and or be able to demonstrate welding ability
Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
A minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Professional oral and written interpersonal communication, listening skills and ability to interact with others
Attend and maintain continuing education in the related field.

Military Experience
Full Time Position (After hours work and on call 24 hours/day may be required).
