Job Summary: The Real Estate Facilities Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within residential and commercial properties managed by the real estate company. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure properties are well-kept, aesthetically appealing, and hygienic for tenants, potential buyers, and employees. The Housekeeper will also ensure that all areas are compliant with health and safety standards, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize common areas, hallways, stairways, elevators, and restrooms.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and baseboards in residential and commercial spaces.
- Vacuum and mop floors, and clean carpets, ensuring they are free of dirt and stains.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a streak-free appearance.
- Wash and sanitize kitchen and bathroom areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
- Property Maintenance Support:
- Ensure all trash and recyclables are properly disposed of in a timely manner.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures) to the property management team.
- Monitor the supply of cleaning products and materials, and request replenishments when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas for open houses or property showings.
- Specialized Cleaning Tasks:
- Perform deep cleaning of vacant properties between tenants or before property viewings.
- Clean exterior areas, including outdoor walkways, parking lots, and entryways.
- Clean and maintain outdoor furniture, lighting fixtures, and other property features.
- Health and Safety:
- Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure that all areas comply with health and safety regulations, including proper waste disposal and the use of non-toxic cleaning materials when required.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism and courteous interactions with tenants, property owners, and visitors.
- Assist with moving furniture or setting up spaces as needed for showings or events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial work, preferably within a real estate, property management, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
- Part-Time with potential for Full-Time, with flexibility for evening or weekend shifts depending on property needs.
- May require occasional travel between different properties.
