Position Title: Bilingual Supervisor - 1st shift
Summary: The Supervisor will be responsible to lead the Team Members and develop a self-directed, empowered workforce. Hours typically are 5:00 am to production 3 pm Monday thru Friday. May be required to occasionally work weekends to meet customer demands.
Primary Duties:
1. Coach all team members on the Company’s Basic Expectations of Team Members”.
2. Lead the team in continual improvement as a way of doing business. Monitor breaks, changeovers and downtime for opportunities to improve.
3. Identify key metrics and lead the team in setting goals, measuring their progress and holding team members accountable.
4. Emphasize development of team and technical skills to provide depth in all positions.
5. Implement the policies in the Team Member Handbook. Be consistent in applying discipline when needed.
6. Coordinate efforts with other shifts & leaders of production & sanitation.
Reports to: Production Manager
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Proven Supervisor or assistant supervisor of a production team in an empowered team environment for a minimum of 1 year.
- Experience in gaining efficiencies in operations.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality products within tight timeframes.
- Knowledge of HAACP, SQF or similar quality control or food safety programs.
- Familiar with the food or pizza industry a plus.
- Ability to learn all applicable USDA, FDA and OSHA regulations applicable to Pep’s operation
- Maintain safe work environment and oversee quality from the start to finish to ensure we are meeting our customer expectations.

12. Experience with Redzone software a plus but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
1. Fast paced Manuel labor
2. Standing and walking, 8-10 hours a day
3. Lifting: varies by position
4. Excellent hand-eye coordination
5. Detail orientated
6. Ability to climb steps and also occasionally climb on a ladder.
7. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Efficiency: Employees must meet or exceed production goals for yields, waste, and time usage.
Quality: Employees must comply with Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Dress Code: hairnets, beard nets, gloves, and uniform shirts are worn. No watches, no jewelry, no piercings, no false fingernails or nail polish are permitted in food production areas. No skirts, no shorts, no pants with holes are permitted.
Attendance: Excellent attendance is a job requirement.
Safety: Employees must comply with company safe practices.
General: Employees will be expected to work to achieve company goals and to comply fully with all policies and procedures.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
