Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure the health and well-being of clients.
- Provide support for individuals with autism, ensuring their unique needs are met with patience and understanding.
- Engage clients in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function and promote mental well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a sense of trust and comfort.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home or to appointments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, home health, or working in group homes is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- A strong understanding of patient care practices, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with ADLs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care in a respectful manner.
