Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or memory loss is a plus
Skills:
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients based on dietary needs
- Proficient in providing dementia care and understanding the unique needs of individuals with memory loss
- Knowledge of home care practices and techniques
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation requirements
- Ability to take accurate vital signs measurements
