Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help with mobility and physical assistance, including lifting when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support individuals with disabilities by facilitating their daily activities and promoting independence.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
- Administer basic health care tasks as needed, including CPR if required.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with senior care practices and home community care is advantageous.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach towards working with individuals with disabilities is essential.
- Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
