Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water, fire, and mold damage. The ideal candidate will
- have existing certification (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) - this is strongly preferred
- pass a background check
- use estimating software
have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize various power and hand tools to clean, build, and restore affected areas, ensuring that properties are returned to their pre-damage condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform water damage restoration services including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Execute fire restoration tasks such as cleaning soot and smoke damage.
- Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe environments.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for restoration projects.
- Clean carpets and upholstery as part of the restoration process.
- Assess damage and determine appropriate restoration methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the restoration process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and progress.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with fire restoration techniques and water damage restoration practices is a plus.
- Experience using power tools and hand tools effectively in a construction or maintenance setting.
- Knowledge of mold remediation processes is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
