Summary
As an Assistant Teacher at A Leap In Learning, LLC, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of young children. Located in a vibrant childcare environment, this position is essential in helping create engaging lesson plans and fostering a love for learning among our students.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote collaboration and understanding.
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to lead teachers regarding individual needs.
- Participate in early intervention strategies to support children's development as needed.
- Help organize classroom materials and maintain an orderly environment.
- Engage children in physical education activities that promote health and wellness.
- Foster a love for learning through creative play and educational experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in early childhood education or related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to assist in lesson planning and adapt activities for diverse learners.
- Knowledge of preschool curriculum standards and early childhood development principles.
- Experience in toddler care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices is a plus but not required.
