What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher position at A Lil One's Learning Center?
As a 2-Year-Old Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers in our early childhood education program. Your responsibilities will include:
Curriculum Development:
-Designing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote holistic development, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
-Incorporating play-based learning methodologies to engage toddlers and facilitate their exploration and discovery.
Classroom Management:
-Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
-Establishing and enforcing rules and routines to promote positive behavior and social skills development.
-Managing transitions and facilitating smooth daily routines, such as meal times, nap times, and toileting.
Individualized Instruction:
-Recognizing and catering to the unique needs and developmental milestones of each child in your care.
-Providing one-on-one attention and support as needed to foster each toddler's progress and learning journey.
Parent Communication:
-Maintaining open and transparent communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's development, activities, and any concerns.
-Collaborating with families to support continuity between home and school environments and promote parental involvement in their child's education.
Assessment and Documentation:
-Observing and assessing each child's progress and development, and maintaining accurate records of their milestones, achievements, and areas for growth.
-Documenting observations, assessments, and learning experiences to inform individualized planning and support continuous improvement.
Professional Development:
-Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education and enhance your skills and knowledge.
