Heavy Equipment Operator
A. Lindberg & Sons Inc. seeks to fill multiple openings for skilled Heavy Equipment Operators in Aggregate Crushing Operations, Civil Construction, and Earthwork Projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, fueling and operation of equipment.
- Operate equipment such as articulated haul-truck, scrapers, dozers, excavators, loaders, etc. on a variety of Heavy Civil, Crushing and Screening, and Infrastructure projects.
- Set up and inspect equipment prior to operation.
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn, follow, and promote all company safety policies as well as OSHA, MIOSHA, and MSHA regulations.
- Work as part of a team and follow directions from the foreman
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite, trailer, equipment, etc.
- May assist other craft workers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required and work long hours, 5-6 days per week.
- Ability to work in all environmental conditions for 10 or more hours a day.
- Good work ethic, punctual and alert.
- Must be a member of respective trade union or willing to join.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
