Position Overview
We are seeking an Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration & Modeling (AFSIM) Modeling and Simulation Specialist to support extensive MS&A initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to capability assessments for emerging military technologies and ensure that simulation tools and methodologies effectively inform Department of Defense (DoD) decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop military models and entities of varying complexity within AFSIM.
- Utilize dynamic scripting techniques to define entity actions and interactions in AFSIM.
- Design and enhance operationally relevant scenarios that accurately represent engagements and mission dynamics.
- Support the development and execution of MS&A study plans using AFSIM.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), including pilots and technologists, to identify system requirements.
- Analyze AFSIM results, contribute to study execution, and present findings.
- Collaborate with agile software development teams to enhance MS&A solutions.
- Engage with study leads and stakeholders to define study requirements and develop technical approaches.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in related analysis work.
- Active Top Secret (TS) U.S. DoD security clearance required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing AFSIM scenarios and models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with scientific methods and analysis techniques applied to MS&A efforts.
- Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, C ).
- Ability to work effectively in team environments.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or higher.
- Experience with NGTS, LVC, OneSAF, Python, or C .
- Familiarity with modern military systems (foreign and domestic).
