Application Architect

Location : Lansing, MI

Rate : 60-65 / hr in w-2 (No c2c or third party candidates will be accepted on this role.

Overview :

The Infrastructure Solutions Architect will take on both Infrastructure and Application Architect responsibilities, providing critical support several departments within organization. This role will guide developers and business analysts, aligning technical solutions with business goals, and ensuring compliance with state standards, including the Project Management Methodology (PMM) and Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM)

Key Responsibilities :

• Architecture Design & Analysis :
• Analyze and recommend architecture solutions for infrastructure, applications, and integrations.
• Provide strategic recommendations for hardware, software, storage, and network systems to meet scalability and performance needs.
• Technical Leadership :
• Lead development teams to build systems aligned with defined architecture standards.
• Support technical teams with implementations and architectural changes.
• Recommend and implement technical architectures for web content management applications.
• Business Analysis :
• Analyze business practices and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop business process models and provide best practice strategies.
• Lead and review Business Analyst efforts, ensuring completeness of requirements.
• Application Strategy & Integration :
• Assist in legacy application strategies and integration with new systems and vendor technologies (including COTS).
• Architect cohesive solutions from diverse technologies, ensuring manageability and performance.
• Compliance & Standards :
• Ensure all solutions comply with defined standards (de facto and de jure).
• Create and maintain documentation deliverables required by the the oraginzation's standards
• Strategic Planning :
• Contribute to strategic application integration and future growth planning.
• Analyze market trends to identify technical opportunities that align with business needs.
• Technology Testing & Cost Analysis :
• Develop and execute technology test plans.
• Perform cost modeling and ROI analysis for projects and operations.
