A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Behavioral Health Specialist – 1st Shift in a Correctional Setting.
The Behavioral Health Specialist would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40 hours per week , Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM.

Behavioral Health Specialist Compensation
- The pay for this position is $30 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Use organized programming to promote skill development, problem-solving, and coping strategies for patients in a correctional settingProvide group and individual treatment to patientsDevelop and implement interventions under the supervision of professional behavioral / mental health staffEncourage patient participation in group and individual activitiesParticipate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings as assignedProvide care and activities programming to the patient populationMonitor and document patient progress while ensuring all records remain audit-readyTrack and manage inventory of materials to maintain a safe environmentAdhere to institutional rules and regulations while coordinating with security staffAttend required safety training and in-service programsPerform additional duties as requested by administrative staffBehavioral Health Specialist Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (human services, social work, psychology preferred)Training, experience, or certification as a mental health worker, activities technician, case manager, or group counselor preferredPrior experience in behavioral or mental health, drug / alcohol rehabilitation preferredAbility to pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicableAttendance is mandatory for the first 90 daysBehavioral Health Specialist Work Environment
