Mechanical Engineer Pay Rate: $69.44 per hour

Mechanical Engineer Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing components, systems, and finished products, while also working on large assemblies and manufacturing machine designs. This role requires advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering and a strong ability to solve moderately complex mechanical problems. The candidate must also have a project management background and experience working in an ISO6 cleanroom environment.
Mechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Design large assemblies using SolidWorks, including components, mechanisms, and systems for various applications.
- Manufacturing and Machine Design: Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine design to develop functional, reliable products.
- Project Management: Manage engineering projects from design through implementation, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Cleanroom Work: Approximately 25% of the time will be spent in an ISO6 cleanroom, requiring the candidate to wear appropriate protective gowning from head to toe.
- Problem-Solving: Independently test, analyze, and solve advanced technical problems, applying advanced statistical techniques and utilizing design of experiments.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience, offering guidance and support when needed.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in mechanical design, particularly with large assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Strong background in manufacturing machine design.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments is a plus, as you will be required to wear gowning and follow strict protocols.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and other mechanical design software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their real-world applications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and prioritize tasks effectively.
Mechanical Engineer Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to wear full gowning while working in the cleanroom environment.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
