The Corrections LPN would be working for a healthcare provider with a strong commitment to patient care and has career growth potential. This would be a full-time role with alternating weekends off (Monday and Friday every other weekend).

- The pay for this position is $38.00 per hour.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
- The required availability for this position is 3rd Shift - 11 PM to 7:30 AM, alternating weekends off.
- Contribute to the assessment of patients’ health status.
- Participate in the development and modification of patient care plans.
- Perform delegated tasks, activities, and functions consistent with your education and within scope of practice.
- Provide direct basic care to assigned clients.
- Ensure safe and effective nursing care and assume responsibility for care delivered.
- Implement patient education based on established teaching plans.
- Utilize a problem-solving approach in decision-making.
- Monitor offsite and onsite scheduling with a collaborative approach.
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and Patient Care Committee Meetings.
- Monitor consult processes and ensure follow-up care for patients, including telemedicine appointments.
- Collaborate with the Regional Medical Director, site medical providers, and other nursing leaders.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- 1 year of LPN experience.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Possess an active CPR certification.
- Remain knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing nursing practice.
- Complete initial and annual clinical competencies.
- Background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days.
