A-Line is now hiring a Cyber Security Engineer in Charlotte, NC! (Hybrid position – 3 days ONSITE)

Hourly Rate: $50

Location: Charlotte, NC

Top Skills:

• Experience developing security control requirements for public cloud platform services.
• Deep knowledge of industry and regulatory compliance frameworks applicable to financial services workloads deployed in public cloud.
• Experience with CSPM tool custom policy development and mapping those policies to framework requirements.

Desired Skills:

• Thorough understanding of AWS security concepts and principles.
• Thorough understanding of GRC process requirements as they relate to public cloud security controls.
• Certification in public cloud security and/or GRC.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Collaborative team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating and addressing potential risks and issues in advance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and manage tasks without dominating interactions.

Job Description:

This position is critical as the audit specifically flagged cloud security gaps. As our cloud operations expand, the need for specialized security measures grows. The role involves collaborating across teams to enhance cloud security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Container Vulnerability Scan:
   • Collaborate with the vulnerability management team to develop a solution and processes for scanning and identifying security vulnerabilities in cloud container environments.
2. Container Image Remediation and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM):
   • Partner with ETO to establish protocols for container image hygiene, gating, and develop a sustainable posture management strategy as cloud operations expand.
