Job Description :
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Operator 1 for our Warehouse Operations in Canaan, CT. The position primarily involves loading trailers using a forklift, but will also include secondary duties such as billing trailers and shipments in the SAP system and providing backup support for the shipping office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Load trailers with forklift equipment and other materials-handling tools.
- Use equipment such as forklifts, cranes, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the plant or warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and shipments.
- Capable of billing trailers and shipments in the SAP system and supporting the shipping office as needed.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines to ensure all work meets required standards.
- Work under general to limited supervision with opportunities to develop and grow within the position.
