Warehouse Operations – Plainfield, INPay Rate : $17.50 / hrLocation : Plainfield, INSchedule : 1st Shift | 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PMJob SummaryThe Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload inbound and outbound shipments using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Identify and report discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping / receiving documents.Handle pallets carefully to promote safety and minimize product damage.Retrieve and replenish products in designated warehouse locations.Support other warehouse functions and serve as a backup when needed.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferred (1 year of relevant experience required if no diploma / GED).Experience operating multiple types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including : Order PickersReach TrucksCounterbalance (Slip & Clamp)Dock StockerSkills & RequirementsAbility to obtain forklift certification.Capable of reading and interpreting distribution documents.Proficient in using an RF scanner and PC.Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.General knowledge of warehouse operations.High initiative and results-driven attitude.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.Must be able to lift over 50 lbs in some areas.Normal vision required (corrected to 20 / 40 in each eye).Ability to safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).Exposure to moderate-to-loud noise, moving machinery, temperature variations, and airborne particles.Apply today to join our dynamic warehouse team!
