Healthcare Enrollment Coordinator Details and Compensation :

  • Location : Cumberland, RI 02864 – option for hybrid after training
  • Payrate : $19.29 / hr
  • Required Availability : Monday to Friday, 730a to 4p

Healthcare Enrollment Coordinator Summary and Highlights :

The Healthcare Enrollment Coordinator is crucial in ensuring corporate compliance with statutory requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial enrollment for clinics and providers. The ideal candidate will have experience in payer enrollment processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

    • Healthcare Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities :

  • Process payer enrollment applications (Initial and Revalidations) for clinics and providers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of Medicare and Medicaid individual enrollment applications.
  • Resolve claims issues related to individual payers in the corporate billing system.
  • Maintain compliance with government payer credentialing, re-credentialing, and audit procedures.
  • Contact providers regarding revalidation notices, obtaining signature pages, and verifying information.
  • Identify and communicate payer enrollment trends / issues to management.
  • Minimize denials and deactivation of government applications to reduce key metrics, including DSO, cost to collect, aged claims, and bad debt.
  • Update credentialing and billing systems with provider information.
  • Collaborate with payer relations, revenue cycle operations, credentialing, accounts receivable, billing, and clinical operations teams.

    • Healthcare Enrollment Coordinator Requirements :

  • Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience working with government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attendance : Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
