Infrastructure Architect

Rate: 70-8/hr on w-2 (No C2C or third party candidates will be accepted at this time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to play a critical role in both infrastructure and application architecture for the Financial and Legal departments. This position will provide strategic direction in analyzing, designing, and implementing architecture solutions while ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. The role also involves leading developers, collaborating with business analysts, and executing tasks defined in the Project Management (PM) and Systems Engineering (SEM) Methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C#, SQL Server, cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and containerization tools, as well as experience transitioning teams from on-premises to cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Strategy

• Analyze and recommend infrastructure and application architecture solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Lead software development teams to ensure system architecture aligns with defined best practices.
• Establish compliance with industry standards and security policies.
• Develop strategic plans for application integration, legacy system migration, and cloud adoption.
• Perform cost analysis and ROI assessments for projects and IT operations.
• Ensure integration of vendor technologies, COTS solutions, and third-party applications.

Technical Leadership & Development

• Guide developers and engineers in implementing architectural designs.
• Support CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance for continuous integration and deployment.
• Architect cloud-hosted solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Recommend and implement security best practices and disaster recovery plans.
• Assist with technology infrastructure testing and validation processes.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Serve as a communication bridge between business users and technical teams.
• Review and validate business process models through an infrastructure lens.
• Assist with business assessment, visioning, and reengineering initiatives.
• Provide technical documentation
• Lead and review business analysis efforts to ensure completeness for infrastructure projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise:

• 10 years experience with C# development.
• 5 years experience with SQL Server database design and optimization.
• 3 years experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• 3 years experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• 3 years experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• 3 years experience configuring message queuing systems (Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• 3 years experience developing security and disaster recovery plans.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar).
• 5 years experience maintaining .NET applications.
• 5 years experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud deployment.
• 2 years experience transitioning teams from on-prem hosting to cloud hosting.
