A-Line Staffing is recruiting for a full time permanent Internal Medicine - Family Practice Hospitalist in Houston, TX. They are offering a generous compensation and a full benefit package.
Internal Medicine / Family Practice Hospitalist
Full Time Permanent
Hospitalist position :
Location : Houston, TX - downtown
Start date- ASAP
Scheduling model : 9 on and 5 off or 7 on 7 off. This a round and go, no shift work, can come and go as your please. Carry pager until 7 pm
NO codes, no procedures, closed ICU
NPs do all the H&Ps admissions from 7 pm to 7 am so doc does mostly follow ups and discharges
Doctor’s rotate - 2 – 3 H & P’s admissions 2 – 3 hour blocks
EMR – Epic
Doctors take call from home from the NP only (1 doctor per night)
18 patient encounters per day expectation
Average 20 patients per day including admissions
RVU bonus kicks in after 18 encounters
Compensation : $250-270k annually
210-220 base RVU productivity bonus and performance bonus
Full benefits including health, dental, malpractice, vacation (3 weeks), CME (3 days off) and $2,500 reimbursements, 401k
