A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Interventional Radiologic Technologist in the Morristown, NJ area! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Major Healthcare System and has career growth potential!
Highlights :
Pay : $55-$60 / hr based on experience
Schedule : 7.5 hour shifts / 5-days a week shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday on-call requirements
This is a 13-week contract with potential to extend
This is an on-site role in the Morristown, NJ area must be local and have reliable transportation
Medical benefits offered after the first 90 days of employment
Job Responsibilities :
Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
Ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
Ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra / PACs system
Groin management post intervention
Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist required
NJ radiographic licensure required
BLS required
Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT required
