A-Line Staffing is now hiring Mechanical Engineering Technicians in Franklin Lakes, NJ. The role would be working for a major healthcare company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40 hours per week.

Lab Technician Compensation
The pay for this position is $24.00 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Lab Technician Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
Lab Technician Responsibilities
Execute minimally complex test requests with moderate assistance, developing on all lab testing.
Handle minimally complex problems with moderate supervisor assistance.
Work with moderate oversight / supervision to complete minimally complex projects.
Support equipment qualification (IQ, OQ) and TMV’s development.
Support TMD and Ver / Val teams.
Troubleshoot to find solutions for test inconsistencies.
Maintain good documentation practice (GDP) and good laboratory practices (GLP).
Support compliance with GLP and create tools for process simplification of lab operations.
Lab Technician Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree OR
Associates in Applied Science (AAS) OR
High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting.
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Instron Software programs Blue-Hill 3 or Blue-Hill Universal & Tensile / Compression Testing.
Proficient communication skills (written / verbal).
Well-organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work in a team.
Good understanding of math and ability to collect, record, and report data accurately.
Developing technical writing and root cause analysis skills.
Preferred skills : Operate and troubleshoot mechanical test equipment.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and TEAMS.
Physical Demands
Standing while performing tasks.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Work Environment
Laboratory environment using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Potential exposure to chemicals or human body fluids for testing.
