Medicaid / Medicare Enrollment Coordinator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $19.29 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Medicaid / Medicare Enrollment Coordinator Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needsThe required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, onsite for 4 days a week with an option to work from home on Fridays once trainedMedicaid / Medicare Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of Payer Enrollment applications (Initial and Revalidations) for Clinics and ProvidersProvide quality control for timely and accurate individual enrollment applications submitted for Medicare and Medicaid programsResolve claims issues for individual payers in the corporate billing systemResearch, complete, and maintain compliance with individual Government payers through credentialing, re-credentialing, and audit processes and proceduresContact Providers when Revalidation notices are received to obtain signature pages and validate current general informationCollaborate with internal and external vendors and create partnerships through effective relationship building skillsMinimize denials and deactivation of government applications to reduce key metrics, including DSO, cost to collect, percent of aged claims, and Bad DebtUpdate Credentialing and Billing systems with Provider information upon inquiry or receipt from Government / Commercial payersMedicaid / Medicare Enrollment Coordinator Requirements
2-5 years of work experience with Government payersProficient in Excel and OutlookAbility to work independently and make decisionsAdept at problem-solving and decision-making skillsWillingness to learn and grow in the roleHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAttendance is mandatory for the first 90 daysMedicaid / Medicare Enrollment Coordinator Preferred Qualifications
