Pay Rate : $17.00 per hour
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Health Information Technician to join our team at a correctional facility in Grafton, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inmate health records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while supporting healthcare staff in providing quality medical services.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately input, update, and maintain inmates’ health information in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Ensure that medical records are complete, accurate, and timely.
- Organize and file physical and electronic health records, ensuring proper documentation and retrieval.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure medical information is accessible when needed.
- Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and other documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines regarding patient information.
- Help with medical coding and billing tasks as needed.
- Assist in managing inventory of health-related documents and materials.
