About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated P / C Actuarial Analyst II to join our team, specializing in Property & Casualty pricing and product development. You will play a key role in developing actuarial models, analyzing risk issues, and influencing management strategies that impact underwriting, pricing, reserves, and overall profitability.
Key Details : Direct-hire opportunity, hybrid work schedule, competitive salary up to $130k, and 6% annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and apply actuarial formulas to analyze data and recommend pricing strategies.
- Research and analyze various datasets to produce rate adjustment proposals, reserve estimates, and economic capital models.
- Provide actuarial support for regulatory filings and pricing structures.
- Partner with Product Line and State Managers to determine premium rates, pricing structures, and profit forecasts.
- Participate in cross-functional actuarial projects and strategic initiatives.
- Support research in the development of actuarial techniques, standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Pursue Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) designation, at least through Associate of the CAS (ACAS) level, while maintaining appropriate Continuing Education credits.
