Job Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $30 - $33 per hour Benefits Available after 90 days
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Morristown, NJ (Onsite)
- Contract-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce regulatory compliance and quality assurance in credentialing processes.
- Prepare and maintain reports on accreditation, membership, and facility privileges.
- Ensure all credentialing information meets legal, federal, and state guidelines.
- Process initial and reappointment applications (125-200 quarterly).
- Verify and update provider information, including education, licensure, and training.
- Maintain data accuracy within the Echo credentialing database.
- Prepare materials for Credentials Committee, MEC, and Board of Trustees meetings.
- Schedule and attend medical staff department meetings, taking minutes as needed.
- Track license and certification expirations for all providers.
- Maintain confidentiality of provider information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with physician credentialing/recruiting process is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships.
- Proficient in computer applications related to credentialing.
- Degree preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent required.
