Pharmacy Technician Compensation
• The pay for this position is $19 - $21 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Overtime is not required but may be offered occasionally
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
• Handle incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders, providing professional phone assistance through the criteria-based prior authorization process
• Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials
• Transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
• CPhT or National Pharmacy Technician License
• State Pharmacy Technician License
• Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal)
• Must be open to working any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Time
• High School Diploma or GED required
Pharmacy Technician Preferences
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
