Product Owner (AI Product Analyst)

📍 Location: Hybrid Charlotte, NC (3 days in-office)

Rate: 35-42/hr on w-2. (No C2C)

📅 Experience: 3-5 years professional experience | 1-2 years AI experience (Traditional or Generative AI)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Product Owner (AI Product Analyst) with a strong foundation in AI technologies, project management, and stakeholder communication. This role involves guiding business units in AI experimentation, integration, and measurement while ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business leadership to drive AI adoption and deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ AI Integration & Experimentation:

• Guide business units on AI use case experimentation, integration, and performance measurement.
• Define AI use cases, objectives, and measurable success criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and governance teams to implement AI/Machine Learning solutions in production.

✅ Product & Project Management:

• Gather and document business requirements, system specifications, and analytics needs.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for AI-related projects and releases.
• Support the product lifecycle, from launch to ongoing improvements.
• Continuously assess market trends to refine AI strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.

✅ Stakeholder Communication & Risk Management:

• Effectively communicate AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies throughout the AI product lifecycle.
• Work with risk and governance teams to ensure AI initiatives align with ethical and compliance standards.

✅ Strategic AI Implementation:

• Break down complex, ambiguous problems into well-defined use cases and roadmap them.
• Establish measurable KPIs to assess AI solutions' business impact.
• Support business units in developing AI strategies and aligning them with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

🔹 3-5 years of professional experience, including 1-2 years with AI (Traditional or Generative AI).

🔹 Strong understanding of AI concepts: machine learning, generative AI, data science, model lifecycle.

🔹 Experience with AI technologies within cloud platforms (Azure, Bedrock).

🔹 Expertise in project/product management with Agile methodologies.

🔹 Strong stakeholder management—ability to work with data scientists, engineers, and business leadership.

🔹 Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize AI models and address technical challenges.

Preferred Skills:

✔️ Understanding of data science practices and AI methodologies.

✔️ Awareness of AI ethics, risks, and compliance.

✔️ Experience with software development practices, version control, and deployment strategies.

✔️ Financial services or related industry experience.

✔️ Consulting experience in AI, product, or project management.
