Inspector 2, Quality Control

Location : Onsite Daily

Pay Rate : $25 - $30 per hour (dependent on experience)

Shift & Schedule :

  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM

Note : Suppliers should quote candidates at $25 / hr to avoid over-quoting, as final pay will depend on experience.

Job Description :

We are seeking an Inspector 2, Quality Control to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a variety of products in accordance with internal procedures and Product Specifications. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality, identifying non-conformances, and working with the Supervisor on corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform inspections to ensure compliance with internal procedures and specifications.
  • Identify and report non-conformances to Supervisor and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Determine product acceptability or initiate rejection notices when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate written records of inspections and results.
  • Recognize and escalate conditions outside specific inspection areas.
  • Monitor compliance with G.M.P. in working areas and report infractions.
  • Evaluate both product and process, making decisions on visual inspections.
  • Contribute to product quality, productivity, and cost management.

    • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Education : High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience :
  • One (1) to two (2) years of related Quality Control experience or equivalent.
  • Six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong human relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English.
  • Must be capable of repetitive motion and lifting up to 50 lbs.
