Remote Call Center Pharmacy Technician Compensation:
The pay for this position is $17.38 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Remote Call Center Pharmacy Technician Highlights:
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST
Training will be 4 weeks long from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST
Remote Call Center Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders, providing professional phone assistance through the criteria-based prior authorization process
Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials
Transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist
Perform data entry and navigate multiple computer applications while utilizing two screens
Make outbound calls as necessary
Remote Call Center Pharmacy Technician Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (must be verifiable)
National pharmacy technician certification or state registration/certification/licensure per state regulations
At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function
Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume customer service or call center role, preferably in healthcare, social services, or a similar service industry
Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization
Ability to work independently in a data entry, productivity-driven role
Ability to sit and focus on work for the duration of the shift
Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace with wired internet meeting 25mbps download and 5mbps upload speed
Previous work-from-home experience preferred
