Sonographer Compensation
The pay for this position is $31.06-$46.59 per hour based on experience.
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Sonographer Highlights
The required availability for this position is part time.
Shift is 3p-11 : 30p, 3 shifts per week
24 hours per week guaranteed.
Position is direct hire – No contract work involved.
Sonographer Responsibilities
Operates diagnostic sonography equipment and performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures.
Operates within the "Practice Standards" and "Code of Ethics" of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Works together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized procedures.
Sets up and adjusts equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, and knowledge of imaging various anatomical structures.
Is able to position patients to obtain images of the area of interest, while respecting the patient's ability and comfort.
Obtains appropriate patient information for the procedure being completed.
Utilizes PPE and other guidelines as needed. Recognizes emergent situations and activates assistance as needed.
Assists other areas and shifts as needed.
Sonographer Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Satisfactory completion of formal technology training.
Registered or registry eligible by ARDMS or ARRT in ultrasound required.
Valid certification w / in 12 months of graduation from an approved ultrasound training program or completion of cross training required.
CPR certification required.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting.
Must be able to take call.
Minimum 1 year previous ultrasound experience required.
