The ideal candidate will possess expertise in driving strategic sourcing initiatives, stakeholder management, and process improvements within a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position with a shift from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.Strategic Sourcing Specialist Schedule & Location : Shift : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMLocation : North Houston, TX 77043, United StatesType of Assignment : Full-timeStrategic Sourcing Specialist Salary / Wage : $30.00 to $38.00 per hourStrategic Sourcing Specialist Duties : Lead sourcing activities and negotiations for medium to high-value aerospace and industrial components to optimize cost opportunities and contract coverage.Undertake major contractual and price negotiations with key suppliers.Develop and deploy tailored supply chain strategies to drive long-term improvements in quality, cost, and delivery performance.Support internal procurement transformation programs.Coordinate and interface with global supply chain management counterparts, senior stakeholders, and other procurement organizations.Make sourcing recommendations at business unit and global sourcing board levels.Report on plans, activities, and results to direct and functional managers.Ensure close cooperation with internal customers to ensure early involvement and customer care.Foster the usage of e-procurement tools to enhance data, increase automation, drive standardization of dashboards, and encourage supplier collaboration.Strategic Sourcing Specialist Required Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree or related work experience (8 years) required.Experience : 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing / commodity management, with a focus on aerospace or industrial components.Skills : Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management acumen.Previous experience ideally within a manufacturing / engineering setting.Knowledge of working with a global supplier base in a matrix environment.Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in Excel and experienced in continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean & Six Sigma.Experience working as a strategy consultant and / or holding a law degree is a plus.If you think you’re a GREAT candidate and would like to be considered for immediate consideration, call / text Day Green at 1 469-840-5624 or email at Dgreen@alinestaffing.com.
