Required Availability: Full-time / 40 hours per week - 5 days a week with rotating weekends
Base Pay: $24.45 per hour, paid biweekly (every other Friday)
Job Type: This position is a W2 contract assignment with potential for extension and/or conversion to direct based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1 opening)
- Mid Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (1 opening)
- Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM (2 openings)
Shift Differentials:
- 2nd Shift: $1.00/hour ($25.45/hr)
- 3rd Shift: $2.50/hour ($26.95/hr)
- Overtime: 1.5x base pay
- Double Time: 2x base pay
Job Overview:
We are seeking licensed Pharmacy Technicians to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. This role involves prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, inventory management, and assisting with billing and reimbursement processing. It's full-time / 40 hours per week with an organization providing comprehensive home and community-based health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IVs.
- Enter prescription data into the system to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Prepackage medications for dispensing according to regulatory standards.
- Support pharmacists in final prescription checks, medication packaging, and timely deliveries.
- Maintain inventory control by receiving, rotating, and tracking medication stock.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, including equipment maintenance and calibration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Maine Pharmacy Technician License (Required).
- Experience in pharmacy operations, billing, and inventory management is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a regulated environment.
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and assigned shifts.
