We are currently seeking highly dependable, mature, and reliable Direct Care Staff who love to care for people and want to make a difference in the lives of others.
We are currently seeking staff for afternoons/evenings, some overnights, and for weekend shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and/or providing guidance with preparing meals
- Assisting clients with, as well as performing household chores, such as mopping floors, vacuuming carpets and rugs, cleaning bathrooms, doing laundry, etc.
- Transporting clients to doctor appointments and other outings
- Administer medication (if qualified).
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Be present for virtual doctor appointments
- Document daily notes
QUALIFICATIONS
- The qualities of a Direct Care Staff: Compassionate, Caring, Mature, Flexible, Communicator, Honest & Trustworthy, Diligent
- Able to follow spoken and written instructions and document services provided
- Able to function independently in the home setting with minimal direct supervision
- Able to maintain satisfactory relationships with clients, family, and team members
- Able to stand, sit, walk, reach, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
- Reliable transportation
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Flexible schedule
- A "clean" driving record is preferred
