A & M is seeking a Civil Site Superintendent to lead and manage environmental projects. This remote position involves overseeing the daily activities of project teams, managing field operations, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in project execution.

Remote with occasional travel required (Primarily field-based work with potential exposure to varying environmental conditions.

A & M is seeking a Civil Site Superintendent to lead and manage environmental projects. This remote position involves overseeing the daily activities of project teams, managing field operations, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage craft and subcontractor personnel. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and scheduling work. Regularly review time reporting to ensure task and hour accuracy.
- Project Management: Oversee resources, equipment, and tools to ensure timely, budget-conscious project execution. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and staff to meet deadlines and adhere to specifications.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct pre-task planning and risk assessments, and manage site safety plans. Participate in incident investigations and collaborate with Health and Safety personnel.
- Business & Budgeting: Track project costs, prepare progress reports, and monitor the overall budget performance. Develop guidance documents, standard operating procedures, and communication plans with stakeholders.
- Technical Support: Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring and providing guidance to team members. Troubleshoot and resolve project-specific challenges as they arise.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing field activities on earth-moving projects, with experience handling projects involving 50,000-100,000 cubic yards of earthwork in the past 10 years.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience on clean-up projects involving hazardous substances or mine waste.
- In-depth knowledge of hazardous materials transportation and disposal regulations.
- Proven experience in managing multiple subcontractors and vendors.
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Outreach certification.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and current on annual HAZWOPER refresher training.
- Clean driving record.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
