Job Summary:
A.M. Haire Manufacturing is looking for a motivated and professional candidate who can maintain our exceptional standard whenever representing A.M. Haire to both the public and other employees.
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee Maintenance staff and daily operations of maintenance. To include, electrical, plumbing, heating and air(HVAC), carpentry, painting, PM programs and other building systems.
Supervisory Responsibility:
· Training of staff
· Organize and oversee the schedule and assign work of maintenance staff
· Work with Facilities Manager to oversee contractors on site
· Daily, Weekly, and Monthly documentation of progress and projects
Daily Duties/Responsibilities:
· Oversee day to day operation of the maintenance department
· Evaluate needs of production to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be preformed
· Develop maintenance procedures and schedules
· Ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Compensation:
This is a full-time, salaried position. The standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the understanding that meeting the needs of the production schedule and the responsibilities of the department may require flexible/extended hours.
Requirements:
· Required skills/Abilities/Admin work
· Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing and electrical
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Ability to evaluate issues and determine repairs in a timely manner
· Excellent management and supervisory skills
· Proficient with Microsoft office and/or similar software to keep records of PM’s, costs, projects, etc. in Word and Excel
· Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues
· Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
Salary: $50K-60K per year DOE/Q
