Driver Helper (Amazon)

Overview
The Helper Assist role is a non-driving position. This ride-along position assists Delivery Associate Drivers with efficient package delivery and maintaining Customer Obsession in a fast-paced work environment. No driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities
∙Responsible for loading and unloading packages

∙Communicating with customers.

∙Ensures all packages are delivered to the correct address.

∙Adhering to safety regulations and company policy.

∙Helping the driver to navigate to delivery locations.

∙Paying attention to detail.

∙Ensures all packages are properly secured and organized.

∙Uses a handheld device (Rabbit) to navigate the delivery of packages.

∙Ability to lift 50lbs or more.

∙Participates in daily conference calls

∙Stamina and reliability.

∙Communicates regularly with the Dispatch Team to resolve any delivery issues.

Requirements
∙Must be at least 18 years of age.

∙Eligible to work in the U.S.

∙Ability to get in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times throughout the shift.

∙Must be able to walk up and down stairs

∙General knowledge of technology.

∙Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, and safety procedures.

∙Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

∙Perform all required tasks.

Qualifications:

∙High School Diploma or equivalent

∙18 years old or older.

∙Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
