We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Lead with a strong background in developing, implementing, and managing an organizations cybersecurity policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing projects through their entire life cycle, be highly analytical, deadline-driven, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
- Ensure policies adhere to regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Establish and maintain a governance framework for cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and industry standards.
- Lead efforts to maintain and update certification or regulatory status, as required by industry guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and define risk mitigation strategies. Implement tools and processes to manage and reduce cybersecurity risks.
- Provide strategic input on emerging risks and recommend security measures to senior leadership.
- Lead initiatives to develop security awareness and training programs for all employees to ensure compliance with security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- 7 years in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on governance, policy development, monitoring, and authentication tools.
- Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certification.
