Job Responsibilities:
- GenAI Architecture Strategy
- Develop and implement AI architecture strategies, best practices, and standards to optimize AI/ML model deployment and monitoring.
- Create a detailed roadmap and strategy for GenAI platforms and tech stacks to support organizational AI initiatives.
- Serve as a thought leader in generative AI, influencing technical strategy and executive-level decisions.
- ML Architecture Design and Development
- Design and develop custom AI architectures for both batch and stream processing pipelines.
- Oversee workflows from data ingestion and preprocessing to scaled AI model computation.
- Ensure architecture meets service-level agreements (SLAs) and is aligned with enterprise AI platforms.
- AI Infrastructure Architecture
- Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective AI infrastructure for model training and deployment.
- Integrate AI solutions with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- AI Model Deployment Architecture
- Architect and implement deployment patterns for GenAI, LLMs, and machine learning models like Amazon Bedrock in production environments.
- Ensure designs prioritize scalability, reliability, and security for AI/ML systems.
- Leverage tools like Amazon Sage Maker and Low code No code GENAI LLM solution e.g. Amazon Bedrock
- to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Monitoring and Maintenance
- Design robust monitoring systems for tracking model performance, data quality, and infrastructure health.
- Ensure adherence to standards for model governance, data governance, and pipeline monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AI/ML model deployments and data pipelines.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers for seamless model integration into production systems.
- Work with business and product stakeholders to align AI strategies with business requirements and milestones.
- Act as a key interface between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication.
- Security and Compliance
- Implement industry-standard security measures to protect sensitive data and AI systems.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI processes, procedures, and architectures.
- Share knowledge and provide training to internal teams to promote AI literacy and best practices.
- Innovation and Thought Leadership
- Stay ahead of AI trends and leverage emerging technologies to enhance enterprise AI solutions.
- Contribute to research projects and open-source initiatives where applicable.
- Build and scale production-ready AI systems to operate reliably at enterprise levels, ensuring long-term business impact.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience as an ML engineer, architect, or lead data scientist in distributed or cloud platforms.
- 4 years of hands-on experience in ML architecture design and implementation for large-scale enterprise AI solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, Python, PySpark, and Spark for model development and deployment.
- Experience contributing to Bit Bucket, GitHub or open-source initiatives.
- Knowledge of high-level trends in LLMs and open-source AI platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scaled Agile delivery methods.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt communication styles for various audiences, including engineers, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
