We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at A Mobile Maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch roadside assistance and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles to identify issues.
- Execute repairs on diesel engines, including engine overhauls and component replacements.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics is highly preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
