Alexandria, VA Family in need of Nanny!
A loving family in Alexandria is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic, part-time nanny to join their household. The two children thrive on play and learning, and they are looking for someone who can help foster their growth and creativity while providing before and after school care. The position will begins as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate would have specific experience adhering to a daily schedule directed by the parents, fully engaging with the children while playing, and most importantly, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment for the children. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to be interactive with the children as they develop, engaging with age-appropriate conversation, reading, and active play. Singing, dancing, and having fun are encouraged.
Hours and Key Responsibilities :
Before School Care (7 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM) :
- Prepare and serve breakfast.
- Assist with morning routines, including brushing teeth and dressing.
- Walk our daughter, age 3, to preschool at 9 : 00 AM (a short distance from our home).
- Take our son, age 6, to the bus stop for an 8 : 30 AM pick-up.
Afternoon Care (1 : 00 PM - 5 : 00 PM) :
Occasional Full-Day Care :
