Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd shift starting at 4pm.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality and performance.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required.
- Fabricate test samples for evaluation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- The ability to read blueprints is a must
- The use of precision measuring instruments, specifically- calipers and micrometers is required but the ability to use visual systems would be nice
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, excel spreadsheets and databases.
Education/Experience:
- US Citizen
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
