Position Overview:
As a CDL Driver (Passenger Endorsed), you will be responsible for transporting flight crews safely and efficiently between the airport and their designated hotels. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Transport flight crews from the airport to hotels and back, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of both the driver and the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, flight crews, and company personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Assist passengers with luggage as needed and ensure a comfortable and professional experience.
- Complete required logs, paperwork, and electronic records accurately and on time.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Valid CDL License with Passenger Endorsement (issued by the state of residence).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR and/or local for Class A, B CDL Motor Coach OR Class C with Passenger Endorsement Mini Bus within the last 5 years).
- Ability to read and speak English fluently to communicate with law enforcement and read road signs.
- Must provide 10 years of work history with verifiable contacts for previous employers.
- Clean driving record:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No CDL driving disqualifications or safety-related suspensions/revocations in the past 2 years.
- No history of DWI/DUI/OWI/OUI or drug-related convictions in the last 7 years.
- Background check requirements:
- Felony convictions within the last 7 years will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- No felony-controlled substance events in the last 7 years (no exceptions).
- Multiple misdemeanors involving dishonesty, theft, or fraud are disqualifying.
- Must pass a DOT drug test, background check, and safety review.
- Must complete all required safety training before starting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $20/hour (Non-negotiable).
