Our clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor).

$60 - $85 hourly based on billing
Responsibilities:- Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
- Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members
- Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs
- Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives
- Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs
- Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations for clients and their families
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning
- Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- State licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalent
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc.
- Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Clinical Psychology
