A New Leaf is seeking an organized and compassionate Assistant Lead Case Manager to support the Office of Refugee Program. Salaried Pay Rate: $58,344.00
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 9am-5pm

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services, or Social Services required.
Bilingual in English/Spanish; including, having the ability to read legal documentation in Spanish.
Experience:
2 years of progressive employment experience that demonstrated case management experience in a 24-hour service facility.
1 year experience with or applicable knowledge of ORR policy and procedures; including, all aspects of case management, services, sponsor assessments, and safe and timely release.
Child welfare and/or case management experience strongly preferred.
Requirements:
Must be able to provide proof of Immunizations (Varicella, MMR, TDAP, & Flu)
Must be able to pass various background checks
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
Current Auto Liability Insurance
CLEAN 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Directly responsible to the Lead Case Manager and Clinical Director, for administrative and clinical issues regarding admission, discharge and utilization of management issues, while being in conformance with accepted clinical practices and the agency's program definition and policies (as relevant to the program/client needs).
Participate in, and coordinate the treatment plan reviews, educational plan meetings and alternative staffing as needed.
Participate in and coordinate training for new case managers and supervising the work of the other case managers and will complete and monitor timely documentation completion in collaboration with the Lead Case Manager.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, their family members, and significant support systems.
Develop Individual Service Plans.
Screen for human trafficking concerns.
Coordinate with Lead Case Manager to assign cases immediately upon youth’s arrival or the next business day.
Ensure that case managers properly close all physical and digital case files upon youth leaving the shelter.
Meet frequently with clients in-person and family members via telephone; provide up-to-date information on case status and new developments regarding progress and discharge planning.
Coordinate and assist with completion of all necessary documentation as designated by ORR and agency standards.
