Annual Salary: $56,212.00
Shift & Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7 AM - 4 PM (including optional lunch break)
Location: Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university required
Certification by the relevant governing authority, Teaching English as a Second Language/Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages certification or other appropriate accrediting body and additional training to meet the special needs of unaccompanied children.
Spanish language skills, preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two-years teaching experience required.
Basic computer literacy; including, navigating a Microsoft Windows operating system, Outlook email exchange, and online applications.
Compliance:
Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
Current Auto Liability Insurance
39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Provide educational services and assessments, including curriculum building meeting Flores standards for education requirements.
Implement teacher designed lesson plans and exhibit collaboration between other teachers and members of the support staff/treatment team.
Administer academic assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate educational records.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques and ensure the security of all educational/testing instruments.
Responsible for all teaching duties including supervision of students during non- academic times; including, lunch period and stress relief.
Responsible to complete all paperwork required by the school and ORR program.
Attend/complete all require trainings and meetings
Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager.
