Job Summary
The Project Coordinator-Travel Required will work closely with our estimating and superintendent teams to manage heavy highway sitework contracts. This role involves reviewing and executing contract and subcontract documents, monitoring job progress, and ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with estimating and superintendent teams to manage heavy highway sitework contracts.
- Review and execute contract and subcontract documents for designated jobs.
- Monitor job progress, including quantities and costs.
- Maintain regular site visits to ensure job remains on schedule and within budget.
- Interface professionally with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in heavy civil earthwork projects. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical and computer skills, with proficiency in Hard Dollar or similar software, Microsoft Office, Agtek, Auto-CAD, and Trimble Business Center. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, building construction, or building science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is also required.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure.
